Sustainable Peace & Development Organization (SPADO) is a national non-government organization augmenting work on peace, disarmament and protection at national, regional and international level. SPADO works with local and displaced communities in the post-conflict and conflict-prone situations to mitigate their vulnerability from hazards of UXOs and other remnants of armed conflict.
Responding to the threat of landmines and UXOs in the Southern parts of Khyber Pukhtunkhwa SPADO is expanding the sphere of the Risk Education activities in partnership with Mines Advisory Group (MAG) a humanitarian organization that clears the remnants of conflict for the benefit of communities worldwide. We are recruiting the following staff to be based in the SPADO Head Office, Islamabad and District Offices at Kohat, Hangu, DI Khan and Tank.

Position Title

MRE National Project Coordinator – Islamabad

Qualification

Masters in Social Sciences.

Experience

5 years + experience in management/ monitoring and evaluation capacity building preferably with an INGO/NGO.

Skills

Strong English and Pashto language skills.
Strong English writing and reporting skills.
Good command of MS Office and other computer applications.

Preferences

Ability and willingness to undertake field visits to all locations.
Knowledge and Experience of Mine Risk Education.

MRE Project Coordinator (Kohat and Hangu)

Qualification

Masters in Social Sciences or Development Studies.

Experience

Minimum three years experience with INGO/NGO in management capacity.

Skills

Knowledge of culture of Southern parts of KPK.
Knowledge of Pashto language is a must.
MS Office and email.

Preferences

Ability and willingness to undertake field visits to all project locations.
